A Little History on Sundance Spas

Indoor hydrotherapy baths equipped with jets that mixed air and water were first introduced in the early 1960s. People soon discovered that the baths were not only therapeutic, but relaxing and pleasurable as well. The jets were quickly adapted to wooden hot tubs and the spa industry was born.

By the late 1960s the first fiberglass spa was introduced. These early models were crude by today's standards of style and quality. In 1979, all that changed when three young men developed an innovative spa that delivered superior quality and performance - and Sundance Spas was born. Today, Sundance Spas is part of the Jacuzzi branded hot tubs and products popular in high-end spas around the world. Now manufactured along with sister brand, Jacuzzi Hot Tubs , in an ultra model eco friendly* plant in Chino California,  Jacuzzi products are distributed in about 60 countries worldwide.

The Sundance Spas / Jacuzzi Hot Tubs plant is located in Chino, California. This plant was the first ISO 9001 certified hot tub production facility in the world. It has the capability of producing up to 300 spas per day for their domestic and export business needs. The Jacuzzi and Sundance hot tub product line has many unique features such as patented jets, rainbow waterfalls, synthetic sun-resistant siding, stereos, ergonomic seating, triple-layered shells, full foam insulation, and a solid A.B.S. pan bottom. As a matter of fact there are more than 250 patents owned by the company used in the production of their spas.
